Brigade Rules

Object

The object of the game is to move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

• 1 deck (52 cards), no redeal
• 1 reserve pile (on left side) containing 13 cards
• 4 foundation piles (top), each containing an Ace
• 7 tableau piles (below foundations), each containing 5 card faced up

Rules

Foundations: Build up in suit, from Ace to King. The top card of a foundation pile can be moved back to the tableau.

Tableau: Build down regardless of suit. The top card of each tableau pile may be moved to the foundations or to another tableau pile. An empty pile can be filled with any available card.

Reserve: Each card from the reserve can be played to the foundations or to the tableau.
