Object

The object of the game is to move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

  • 1 deck (52 cards), 1 redeal
  • The first card dealt is known as the base card
  • 1 stock pile (top left) with 23 cards faced down
  • 4 foundation piles (right from the waste). The first pile contains the base card while another three piles are empty.
  • 7 tableau piles (below reserves). The first pile contains one card, the second pile contains two cards, the third pile contains three card, and so on. All cards are faced up.

Rules

Stock: Click on the stock to move one card to each tableau pile. There is no redeal.

Foundations: Build up in suit, from the base card (which is the first card dealt and may vary for each game) to card which is one rank lower than the base card. Ranking of cards is continuous so you may build Ace after King if necessary. The top card of a foundation pile can be moved back to the tableau.

Tableau: Build down in same colors (black on black, red to red). The top card of each pile can be moved to the foundations or to the tableau. Packed sequence of cards (cards that are sorted down in same colors) may be moved to another tableau pile. No card can be moved to an empty tableau pile. Ranking of cards is continuous so you may build King to Ace if necessary.
