Object

The object of the game is to move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

  • 1 deck (52 cards), no redeals
  • The first card dealt is called the base card. It is placed on the first foundation pile.
  • 1 stock pile (top left) with 36 cards faced down
  • 1 waste pile (right from the stock), initially empty.
  • 4 foundation piles (top right). The first pile contains the base card while other three foundation piles are empty.
  • 1 reserve pile (below the waste) containing 12 cards, the top card is visible
  • 3 tableau piles (below foundations) each containing one card faced up

Rules

Stock: Click on the stock to move the top card from the stock to the waste. There is no redeal

Waste: The top card can be moved to a foundation pile or to a tableau pile. The top card is visible.

Foundations: Build up in suit, from the base card to the card one rank lower than the base card. Ranking of cards is continuous, so you may build Ace after King if necessary. The top card of foundation pile can be moved back to the tableau.

Tableau: Build down regardless of suit. The top card of each pile may be moved to the foundations or to the tableau. Entire sequence of cards may be moved to another tableau pile. A part of sequence cannot be moved. Ranking of cards is continuous, so you may build King after Ace if necessary. When a tableau pile is empty, the top card from the reserve is automatically placed on the pile. When the reserve is emptied, an empty tableau pile can be filled with any card from the waste. It is not possible to fill an empty pile with a card or a sequence from another tableau pile.

Reserve: The top card can be moved to a foundation pile or to a tableau pile.
