King Albert Rules

Object

The object of the game is to move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

  • 1 deck (52 cards), no redeals
  • 4 foundation piles (top left), initially empty
  • 7 reserve piles (below foundations), each containing one card
  • 9 tableau piles (below reserves). The first pile contains one card, the second pile contains two cards, the third pile contains three cards, and so on. All cards are faced up.

Rules

Foundations: Build up in suit, from Ace to King. The top card of foundation pile can be moved back to the tableau.

Tableau: Build down in alternating colors. The top card of each pile can be moved to the foundations or to the tableau. Empty piles may be filled with any card.

Reserves: A card from a reserve pile can be played to the foundations or to the tableau. Empty reserve pile cannot be filled.
